The beach spreads for miles and miles along the ocean. There's very little life that can be found here, aside from a few ferns and cycads spread out here, and turtles coming up to nest.
The ocean doesn't provide a good source of water as the salinty is too good for the renal system of most animals. Some animals can survive off of scavenging animals washing up on shore, others can live off of fishing from the ocean, only to return to the river to drink.
