The highest elevation in the area. It's also where the headwaters of the river can be found. There vegetation is the sparsest here therefore the highest concentration of large animals can be found here. Small animals beware. The high concentration of predators here make this a small animals nightmare.
There are a a bunch of ferns and cycads all over the ground. The trees here are the tallest in the area, reaching heights of 150 feet or more.
Occasionally, in the dry season the river's head water's can receed a mile or two to the northwest exposing dead fish and other aquatic life. The only downside to this is that there will be a lack of water to drink.
