Trees dot the landscape sparsely. Shrubs and cycads cover the landscape in a few areas. Water isn't as abundant as it is to the north with the lake and the river.
Animals that venture out here mainly do so to graze off of the plant material that can be found high in the trees or low on the ground. Or to follow a prey species to a proper killing spot.
Herbivores have it made out here due to the abundance of vegetation, but they shouldn't let their guard down. Predators know there will be a lot of herbivores taking advantage of this.
